The daughter of a Los Angeles attorney and a social worker, Cheryl grew up in Laurel Canyon surrounded by music and movies. This unique upbringing developed Cheryl’s sharp wit, analytical mind, and positive and empathetic outlook which she brings to every job.

Starting off as a receptionist at HKM’s LA office, Cheryl quickly realized where her talents could be better applied. She pursued Script Supervising, where she could be at the heart of a shoot, working closely with directors, producers and actors to help create the best commercial or film possible.

In L.A., Cheryl began working with renowned directors such as Joe Pytka, Bob Girladi, and Michael Karbelnikoff, the heavy hitters of the 90’s, traveling all over the country. This lead to working on many car commercials with Sam Bayer, at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, in National Parks, and throughout the Rockies pursuing spectacular scenery to sell a product. 

In 2000, Cheryl moved to NYC furthering her work with NBC promotions and productions on such campaigns as “The More You Know”, the live action shoots (The Wiz and Jesus Christ Superstar) and Saturday Night Live film crew unit. The move to NYC also introduced her to a greater diversity directors; emerging women, Broadway directors transitioning to film/TV, and up and coming African American directors.

The later 20-teens saw Cheryl move into multi-camera and hidden camera shoots, managing script notes for 5-11 camera monitors at a time. This expertise has made her a valuable addition to creating promos for FX, Budweiser, and Comcast.

Cheryl’s adaptable and resourceful attitude work hand in hand with her belief that the unity & positivity of the director & client with the crew, create an end product that everyone will be proud of.

Cheryl divides her time between Los Feliz, L.A. and New York City.
